Owen was born in 2008 and quickly started sharing his experiences and pictures with family and friends with his very own website. He realized that he had a lot of followers and changed his website to a blog so his followers could easily stay informed of his most recent adventures. Fast-forward to 2011. Owen's sister Annie was born. Owen, being the generous big brother, decided to share his blog with his little sister. And this is how www.OwenandAnnie.com was born. Here is an excerpt from a recent interview Owen and Annie gave to Babyblog.com:
When asked what they think of all of the attention the get because of their blog:
Owen: Sometimes other kids confide in me that they wish they had a blog as cool as mine. I tell them all one day. One day.
Annie: I have had this blog since I was born. I cannot imagine life without it. I hear Mommy and Daddy tell me there was no such thing as a blog or the internet when they were my age. I am amazed they made it. I don't know if I could have.
What is your favorite part of your blog:
Owen: Being able to share all of the wonderful stories and experiences I have with all of my family and friends.
Annie: What Owen said.
What is the one thing you want everyone who visits your blog to leave with?
Owen: To know that family is the most important thing.
Annie: T-shirts. Still working on that.
Owen, in the past, Lucy has done some guest posts on your blog. Any chance we will hear from her again on OwenandAnnie.com?
Owen: Of course. We love Lucy and want her to be a part of this.
So, like you, we have been spending a lot of time home as a family to help keep us and others safe. It’s quarantine 2020! SO, what have we been doing to keep ourselves busy? Actually, a lot!
The weather has been getting (somewhat) better, so we have been spending a lot of time in our backyard on the swings/ropes, playing corn hole, using our fire pit and just hanging out. Lucy has been feeling better and has also enjoyed the time outside. She also enjoyed begging for my pizza – that Lucy girl, LOL…
Here are just a few pictures from our past few weeks. Not pictured are all the puzzles and art projects we have been also doing as well as a ton of bike rides. Back to the fun – stay safe!
